STEP-1 – Submission of ISO Registration Application: After carefully choosing the right standards, you have to submit an ISO Certification request form to the respected Certification Body. In this, the details of the Company, legal status, processes, number of plants, offices, units, and employees working under the organization should be included.
STEP-2 – Implementing the ISO System: This step includes the Gap Analysis, awareness training, documentation, and Implementation. The company has to prepare the policies, procedures, and flowcharts of its operational process. The ISO System objectives should be prepared and communicated across the company. As per the Clauses of ISO Standards, the mandatory documents have to be prepared, and maintaining the records is essential. Management must conduct a risk analysis, and identify the risk factors along with the Corrective & Preventive actions (CAPA). The Internal Audit is also part of the whole Implementation Process.
STEP-3 – ISO System Auditing: After the successful implementation, you can call for the Certification Body to audit your implemented system. The audit will thoroughly review your existing system in stages. After the audit, the auditor will prepare an audit report and provide a certification recommendation letter to the Certification Body, then the Certification Body officially issues the Certificate.
STEP-4 – Achieving ISO Certificate: This is the last step in the ISO Certification process, As you clear the Certification audit process, you can achieve the ISO Certificate for your Business. The Certificate will have a validity of 3 years and it is subjected to a surveillance audit each year. This is because the CB requires you to maintain the system across the Certification Cycle. If failed to comply, the Certificate will be canceled.
